Project Overview

My Car Hub is an Australian automotive marketplace designed to simplify the car buying and selling experience. The platform connects individual buyers with trusted dealerships across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide — covering new cars, used vehicles, certified pre-owned, and commercial fleets.

RITServices was brought on to architect and develop the entire marketplace from the ground up — including the buyer-facing search experience, the dealer management portal, lead generation infrastructure, and the performance engineering required to serve high-resolution vehicle galleries at sub-second load times across Australia.

The Challenge

The Australian automotive marketplace is dominated by established players like Carsales and Autotrader. My Car Hub needed a platform that could compete on user experience, search speed, and dealer value — without the legacy codebase bloat that makes incumbents slow to innovate.

The primary engineering challenges were threefold. First, building an advanced search and filter system that could query thousands of vehicles across dozens of parameters with sub-second response times. Second, creating a dealer portal robust enough to handle bulk inventory management, lead tracking, and listing analytics. Third, delivering high-resolution vehicle photography across mobile and desktop without compromising the page load performance that directly impacts bounce rates and SEO rankings.

From a business perspective, the platform needed to generate and qualify leads at scale, providing dealers with measurable ROI from day one to drive partnership growth across all five target cities.

Side-by-side vehicle comparison across specifications, pricing, fuel economy, and features. Users can pin up to three vehicles and generate comparison reports, increasing engagement time and purchase confidence.

Lead Generation System

Every vehicle listing includes enquiry forms that connect buyers directly with dealers. Leads are tracked, qualified, and routed via email and SMS notifications. Dealers see real-time lead analytics in their portal.

Mobile-First Responsive Design

Designed from the ground up for mobile browsing — the primary channel for Australian car shoppers. Touch-optimized image galleries, swipeable carousels, and a sticky enquiry CTA ensure seamless mobile conversions.

Performance-Optimized Galleries

Vehicle image galleries use lazy loading, WebP format conversion, responsive srcsets, and CDN delivery to maintain the 0.8-second average page load despite high-resolution photography across thousands of listings.

Local SEO & Schema Markup
